This role is responsible for the day-to-day freight handling and order processing within the warehouse. These tasks include:Operating material handling equipment to manage palleted freight Utilizing RF hand scanners to ship/receive freightUnload/load semi-trucks by forkliftPick product in full pallet quantities or in individual case units Ensures physical inventory matches the RF systemShip/receive freight in correct quantities according to work ordersConduct quality inspections and correct any product or order discrepanciesAssist in other warehouse work such as re-warehousing, special projects, and cleaning YOUR STRENGTHSHigh dependability, solid work ethic and a positive “lead by example” characterDemonstrated and proficient forklift experience Can count accurately and perform basic math functions Frequently lift between 20lb-40lbs. Occasionally lift to up to 70lbsProficient use with RF hand scanners Communicate in English verbally and written Must be able to successfully pass all assessments related to pre-employment testing, forklift safety, drug testing and a background screening United Warehouse is an EEOC employer and drug and alcohol-free workplace.
