The Royal Gorge Philharmonic continues the concert season into 2023! After successful full house performances in November, the orchestra returns to both venues with a concert featuring organ soloist Daniel Foster, organist of Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church. The concert begins with Arcangelo Corelli’s inspiring and quick-paced Concerto Grosso, Opus 4 with organ continuo and strings. The lush and tranquil Rhosymedre by Ralph Vaughn Williams offers a mood of the peaceful English countryside, then the first half concludes with George Frideric Handel’s Organ Concerto in Bb Major, HWV 294.
The second half features the famous and brilliant Serenade for Strings by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and closes with the famous and powerful Allegro from Charles Marie Widor's Fifth Organ Symphony with Daniel Foster at the consol.

Daniel Foster, Organ Soloist
The concert will include approximately an hour and a half of music, plus an intermission.
