Sacramento Mardi Gras needs your help! We want to raise $10,000 to help pay our city permits and local artists, float-makers, dancers, and musicians. By supporting us with your "Krewe dues," you get to be IN THE PARADE! Our costumed Krewe of Trees marchers will groove along the parade route with a live brass band, armed with beads to throw. Our first 50 registrants get free tickets Crocker Museum's ArtMix Mardi Gras on Feb 9th (A $25.00 value!). ALL registrants get tickets to the post-parade Mardi Gras Meets Carnival party in Old Sacramento post-parade on February 18th (Another $25.00 value!). Our Krewe of Trees COSTUMED marchers are a group of amazing, partying, dancing, lovers of Sacramento art and culture! Join us and jam out to a live brass band as we parade from the Capitol to Old Sacramento. An afterparty awaits at the end of our route with live music and Cajun food and drinks for purchase! For joining the Krewe of Trees, you'll receive: Free beads to throw as we parade!Show off your awesome costume or clothes!Vintage-style glass beads to keep forever <3Riders with disabilities can get a ride! The first 50 registrants get a free ticket to Crocker ArtMix in FebruaryAt the end of the parade route is Louisiana Sue's 'Mardi Gras Meets Carnival' Cajun food and music festival!
