Hi. We recently lost a newborn kitten to FKS (Fading Kitten Syndrome). We were raising it by hand, but it didn't make it and passed away as FKS occurs when a kitten between 1-5 weeks fails to thrive. We were doing everything. It crushed both me and my mom, and after a lot of sadness the past week or so, I wanted to introduce another little one to our home. I think we both need it, and I wanted to surprise her. The only downside here is that I can't drive. I'm happy to meet somewhere within walking distance or possibly Uber. A young kitten is preferred but I'm open to anything within reason. We currently don't have any other animals in the home now (we found the kitten outside and were warned it may not make it, but we tried really hard to fight against the odds) and I want more than anything to give my care to another kitten in need.
