FREE EVENTTake a break from the holiday rush. Join ERM biologists on a 5 mile hike and enjoy exploring the Ocean to Lake Trail through the Lucky Tract of Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area. The hike will be over uneven terrain with muddy conditions and standing water (possibly knee deep) in some areas. Prior hiking experience strongly recommended. Bring plenty of drinking water! Please bring your water, appropriate clothing (hat, hiking shoes/boots, long-sleeved shirts and pants for bugs) and bug spray – you will get wet. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The meet up location is at Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area Kayak Launch, 8311 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. Restroom facilities located across the canal, at the Sandhill Crane Access Park.
