Where most studios opt to perform a recital, the kids of Elevate had bigger dreams. They wanted to be on the big screen. So we embark on a journey to produce a short-documentary film. A love letter to the black and brown creative communities of Huntsville. Film by EAT.GOOD, and directed and produced by Executive Director Teneshia LaRoda and Assistant Director Rebecca Martin. Blood Sweat and Tears tells the story of 14 minority dancers and their experience everyday of trying to pursue their dreams despite difficult and often trying circumstances of life.
