The Heersink School of Medicine Office for Diversity and Inclusion invites you to attend the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Event. Keynote speaker Dr. Paulette Dilworth, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at UAB will touch on the importance of Dr. King and her thoughts about this year’s theme: “Together We Can Be THE Dream.” The event will include comments from Drs. Anupam Agarwal and Mona Fouad, with a special performance from Miles College Choir. A boxed lunch will be provided to the first 100 in-person attendees. A Zoom option is available for those who cannot attend in-person.
