ON SITE HIRING EVENT When: Thursday, Jan. 5th, Time: 9am 12pm Where: 7601 S 78th Ave, Bridgeview, IL The Opportunity WestRock is looking for quality individuals to join our Production team in Bridgeview, IL. Current open positions for: Assistant Machine Operators • Starting pay: $19.52 an hour • Plus overtime pay and shift differential • Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shifts available • Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include stacking corrugated products, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace Maintenance Technician • Starting range: $25.31 – 37.48 depending on skill (Mechanical vs Electrical & experience level) • Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment • The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair Production Supervisor • Starting at $75k with bonus potential • Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shifts available • Will oversee department operations to meet all productivity, safety and quality goals, utilizing motivational techniques and training to continuously improve performance • Experience: Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and 3-5 years of manufacturing experience or working in a production environment • Converting and or Corrugated experience preferred What We Offer Westrock offers a career with a global packaging company where sustainability, safety and inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily work. • Benefits on the first day of employment • Benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, generous 401k with match on day one, employee stock Purchase plan potential, and much more! • Comprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunities • An attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies and potential • Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellence • Stable and essential employment Become part of the connection Our name may be new to you, but you see our products every day - from the boxes on your doorstep to your favorite brand's unique packaging.
