Denver, CO - Litter Removal Field Maintenance Supervisor The Litter Removal Field Maintenance Supervisor is a key part of a successful litter removal program for the state. Field Maintenance Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that our litter removal schedule is completed. The work schedule typically starts around sunrise and concludes in the afternoon. We work Monday through Friday, with some weekend work as needed. This is a remote in the field position, we provide work vehicles, equipment and tons of training to get you up and running. This position is great for people who like to be in the field, not stuck behind a desk. The most successful supervisors take control of their work schedule, manage and develop a great work crew and help to find creative solutions. The work is in the Southern Denver/ CO Springs area, on a work schedule which is very nearly the same each month. If this type of work sounds interesting, please reach out to us! Essential Responsibilities: • Hiring, training, coaching, and developing dependable successful maintenance crew members • Reporting crew work hours and payroll information • Leading safety meetings and enforcing AHMC safety policies • Driving eight to ten hours per day to complete litter removal alongside highways • Locating segments using GPS coordinates, planning daily work routes and monitoring and completing daily work schedules • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly litter removal schedule • Submitting daily paperwork using digital forms, apps and paper forms • Adhering to work and safety processes and procedures Qualifications: • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record • 3 years supervisory experience including experience hiring, training, coaching and motivating crews • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format • Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Maps, smart phones, tablets, and apps • Previous experience working with ADP, Google Drive and Dropbox preferred • Knowledge of local roadways • Working on highways, Technology focused a plus Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: • Sit for long periods of time • Drive truck/vans for extended periods of time • Lift up to 50 lbs. independently • Climb a ladder • Walk up to 5-10 miles per day depending on schedule • Hear and participate in verbal conversations Benefits: AHMC provides the following benefits: • PTO – 3 weeks of PTO scaling up to 4 weeks off • Generous holiday schedule including the week between Christmas and New Years Day off • 401k plan that includes 75% match up to 5% of salary • Health, Dental, Vision benefits • $50k life insurance policy, paid by the company FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt Reports To: Deputy Director of Operations Home Location: Denver and surrounding areas Salary Range: Between $52,000 and $57,000 with a $2,000 signing bonus after 6 months
