We are hiring for the primarily for the Johnson City/Gray Areas at this time. If you live in Johnson City, Boones Creek, Jonesborough, etc. this would be ideal. We are looking for a few new additions to our staff in the janitorial field, to take care of our client's buildings and carry out cleaning, maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our clients building in a clean and orderly condition. These positions will begin as part-time positions 15-30 hrs per week(more after training if you do well), however there are opportunities for full-time employment for the ideal candidates. We are a established company with over 20 years in the East Tennessee area and are looking for individuals that are interested in anything from a small number of hours to supplement income, to those that may be looking for new career opportunities. All candidates must be willing to work evenings. Weekends are not always required, but needed at times. Hours are dependent on employees work ethic, quality of work, attitude, and willingness to help when needed. ** PLEASE NOTE** EVERY INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERED MUST INTERVIEW IN PERSON IN OUR OFFICES IN JOHNSON CITY** ** You will be required to take part in a background screening** Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently High school degree Requirements clean background verification a must Valid drivers license Must take part in interview and onboarding process Must have dependable transportation Must be willing to participate in paid training programs Great attitude and willingness to learn is always required Whats In It For Me??
