Description
Join us for a fun and interactive afternoon at Bell Tower Brewing led by Judith Wade and Kim Quinn as we explore in a playful way our goals, wishes, and desires we want for this New Year by creating vision boards. Your mind doesn’t know the difference between something you are vividly imagining and something you are actually experiencing. A variety of people have used visualization with great success from Olympic gold medalists to Oprah who credits visualization with landing her celebrated role in "The Color Purple." Even Dave Grohl of Nirvana and founder of the Foo Fighters used a ritual of intention when he was young that he credits for the beginning of his success. Vision boards support this process and are inspirational collages using images and words that reflect and represent your desires and intentions keeping them at the forefront of your mind through a visual representation. They can be used for a variety of purposes including imagining the life you want, business goals, that vacation you’ve been wanting to take, health and fitness, and more. “A vision board is a powerful way to strengthen your intentions.” - Gabrielle Bernstein, New York Times Best Selling Author of Super Attractor: Methods for Manifesting a Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams The workshop will include: - A meditation to get you centered for connecting with your goals, dreams, desires. - Tools for setting goals and getting clear on what you want. - What a vision board is and different methods for creating one. - Materials and time for creating a vision board. - 16 oz. beer or 1/2 off a flight or 1/2 off a cocktail Anyone can create a vision board. You don’t need to be an artist to play and have fun imagining your dreams. Materials for making a vision board will be provided (poster board, magazines, scissors, glue sticks) but you are welcome to bring a personal item or picture you would like to include on your vision board and additional magazines, scissors, and a journal or artist sketch pad for making vision pages.
