The Gem of the Community Award presented by Norwood Together is back again this year to recognize Norwood residents who have volunteered, and made significant contributions to their neighborhood, school, or community during 2022. These are the gems of our community! We’ll celebrate these community treasures with an event at 5:30 pm on February 23rd at The Ventura, on the corner of Sherman Avenue and Montgomery Road. The event is free, but donations to Norwood Together are always welcome. Receiving this recognition is a way to highlight the accomplishments of our city’s volunteer community leaders, express gratitude for their generous donation of time and talent, and inspire others to become involved in Norwood.
