The City of Salem is excited to announce a new fun, family friendly, and multifaceted New Year’s winter festival. Inspired by the City’s creative culture and in collaboration with locally-based placemaking, entertainment and hospitality firm, The Anthem Group, stunning downtown Charlotte Forten Park will be transformed into Salem’s Frozen Fire Festival – a must-see experience for all ages.
This weeklong event is free and open to the public but be sure to enhance your experience with the add on of one of our VIP packages (available daily and for New Year's Eve!)
Beginning on December 26th and continuing throughout New Year’s Day, guests will enjoy daily programming and entertainment, including

Salem’s Frozen Fire Festival welcomes guests to enjoy multiple hospitality outlets including both the S’mores and Hot Chocolate Garden as well as The Polar Bar, featuring a curated collection of local and international brews alongside a robust wine and selection.
Salem’s Frozen Fire Festival will also be introducing two Olympic-sized curling rinks to add to the outdoor, all-ages fun this winter.
The event is open and free to the public, but festival specials and VIP packages are available now. Private heated igloos are available on a first come first served basis or with the purchase of a VIP package.
