First Church, in partnership with Dozzy Ibekwe (Dozzy's Grill), is delighted to present the Woodlawn Community Christmas Banquet to bring our wonderful community together to celebrate the holidays. The banquet will begin with a cocktail hour from 5:00pm-6:00pm with music from Mark Hubbard and the Voices, a gospel choir. During this hour there will also be tours of our artist-in-residence studios. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. The menu includes peri peri chicken, jollof rice, and salad. A vegetarian option includes red red (black eyed peas in tomato sauce), fried plantains, and crispy kale. The banquet is free and open to everyone. Please come as you are. Up to 400 guests can be accomodated. Guests may consider donating $25 which will support future community programming at First Church. This event is co-sponsored by Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church and Fourth Presbyterian Church.
