"It has come to my attention that the current church and purity culture has slammed the door on many important conversations around topics such as sex, LGBTQ culture, and even dating for marriage. Often times these topics get swept under the rug or brushed to the side with one off "True love waits" classes. These classes can provide great tools, but what about the other 360 days in the year that students and women alike need to hear truth from a gracious Biblical standpoint? This December, I am wanting to host a Girl's Night to build a thriving community of confident young woman who know who they are and have the ability to stand for truth! We are going to have a ton of fun! One of the games, include making a powerpoint and trying to convince your audience why your favorite fictional male character would make the perfect husband. We are also going to have a few women share their testimonies regarding their journey's so far as believers in the Gospel!" If you would like to bring a large number of girls, please contact me or Tammy at FBC Jamestown so we can line up enough food and chaperones :)
