The First 8 Years Speaker Series launched in 2021 to help increase awareness about the importance of early learning and provide valuable tools and insights that educators and advocates can use to improve outcomes for children. This series brings local, regional, and national experts together to discuss important themes, research, and cutting-edge early childhood topics, and provide unique context on their place in the Memphis community.
On January 26th, join First 8 Memphis for our Speaker Series with keynote speaker Dr. Clinton Boyd, Jr. Dr. Boyd is the Executive Director of Fathers, Families, & Healthy Communities (FFHC). Dr. Boyd and a panel of local experts will speak on Fathers and School Readiness: How Fathers’ Engagement Improves Children’s Success.
