Catapult Acting Studios is hosting Pedro Tapia and David Doan, long time agents at CESD Talent Agency in both Los Angeles and New York, for a seminar with Erik Lingvall, owner of Catapult Acting Studios and one of the top acting coaches in the country. Join us for this dynamic seminar event with the combined talents, knowledge and experience of this powerful trio of industry professionals. Pedro and David will be joining us virtually for this event hosted in person at Catapult's Studio. Together with Erik, they will be providing insight, tips and essential information for working in the Film & TV industry along with a Q & A portion of the event. As the founder of Catapult Acting Studios, Erik has established himself as one of the go-to coaches for tv/film actors in the Southeast. Originally from California, Erik currently resides in Atlanta, with his wife and two daughters. He is dedicated to guiding & connecting his clients to the right people & right path, always reminding them to enjoy the process as much as the product at the end. Erik is also the host of a brand new podcast The Unscene Work where he dives in with actors on all the ‘unscene’ work that takes place in the acting room. David Doan is the Vice President of Young Talent in the Theatrical Department at CESD Talent Agency in NYC.  As a Theatrical Agent, David books young actors on TV, Film, and Theater projects for the company.  He has been working in the business for more than 20 years.  He was previously the head of the Theatrical Department at Generation TV, a Talent Manager at J. Mitchell Management, and also a Casting Director for Nickelodeon where he helped cast pilots including Victorious and Big Time Rush.  He was also nominated for a 2012 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for an Animated Series or Special for Nick Jr.’s Bubble Guppies.  His passion for developing and successfully breaking out young performers was recognized in Variety Magazine’s 2015 Youth Impact Report where he was profiled alongside of the industry’s top talent, musicians, agents, and influencers. In 2019 and 2022 David was honored by the Talent Managers Association with a Heller Award for Northeast Youth Agent of the Year. Pedro Tapia is the Vice President of TV/Film at CESD in Los Angeles. Founded in 1967, CESD has been one of the most prestigious and popular agencies for commercial and voice over talents as well as a pioneer in the theatrical representation of young talent in all areas of the entertainment industry. As an agent, he’s helped launch the careers of Grant Gustin (The Flash, CW), Darren Criss (Glee), and more. His clients can be seen on some of the most successful television shows on air and some of the biggest films in theaters on a consistent basis.
