Junior trappers is an engaging and educational program for participants ages 12-15. This 3-day workshop, January 3 - 5 from 9a - 12p, will give participants hands-on experience in Trap, Neuter, Return, and Monitor or TNRM. TNRM is a life-saving program that targets outdoor community cats to provide them with primary care. During the program, participants will learn the foundations of TNRM, gain valuable hands-on experience during a live trapping demo, and learn ways to help cats in our local communities. Students will tour our surgical suite and have questions answered by experienced and knowledgeable staff members. After the three-day event, participants will learn how to build cat shelters, cat beds, and reusable heating pads and receive service hours for their participation.
