The Hixon Teacher Prep. Program at Pasadena City College is excited to host its first Spring education conference titled “Teaching for Equity: Reimagining the TK-12th Grade Classroom.” The conference, aimed at preparing tomorrow’s teachers, both at Pasadena City College and the larger Southern California community, will focus on exploring teaching practices and curriculum that aim to reimagine the classroom space as one that is humanizing, student-centered, and challenges traditional oppressive practices.
