Welcome to the Roche Bar, the oldest bar in Port Huron, Michigan(opened in the early 1800's). Enjoy the nuances of the original old metal ceilings and original bar top. This bourbon tasting and event has been a few years in the making to gather bourbon lovers from both near and far. Adding to the enjoyment is the blues, soul and rock and roll band Gopher Broke. The host of the event is Dr. Steven J. Amey who has for over 30 years been involved in the gathering of knowledge of bourbon, wine and beer. Dr. Amey is certified by the Stave and Thief Society as an Executive Bourbon Steward and also completed the basic courses in Wine by the Court of Master Sommeliers. Learn to discern the unique subtleties of America’s finest whiskeys. Beginner tasters are welcome. The $50.00 ticket price includes a sampling of 10 bourbons, a limited edition Roche Bar keepsake whiskey tasting glass, charcuterie and cheese hors d’oeuvres. Live music featuring blues, soul and rock ‘n roll band “Gopher Broke”. Must be 21 to attend. All sales are final (no refunds)
