This position will also be responsible for the installation, repair, and upkeep of all mechanical and non-mechanical functions at the HQ in Brooklyn. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Maintenance duties to include: a.. Preventative maintenance: perform routine mechanical maintenance on equipment, grease motors and pumps, change belts on gearboxes and motors, change filters, etc b. Plumbing: install and repair plumbing fixtures, water lines, drain lines, pumps, toilets, unclogging drains, etc. furniture, etc. c. HVAC: Change and clean filters, clean coils, repair and clean drains, change drive belts, service air and smoke cleaners. etc. d. Electrical: install and repair switches, receptacles, lighting, wiring, conduit, breakers, etc. e. Operate equipment: power tools, hand tools, vacuums, blowers, pressure washer, paint gun, carpet extractor, etc. f. Maintains a clean front entrance, assuring that it is free from obstructions and debris, including snow removal. g. Other duties as assigned.
