The Whitin-Lasell Manor is available for tours, events, functions, and longer-term creative endeavors. We have 6500+ sqft of gorgeous, accessible event space in an historic, gilded-age mansion - the former residence of the Whitin-Lasell family, which was central to founding the town that shares the name. We're looking for artists, event hosts, historical enthusiasts, curious collaborators, and more -- to help us build the estate into a functional, vibrant, thriving community. The third floor is reserved for private residents (we have room! Join us!) Floors one and two are expansive and beautifully-structured - they're a perfect place to host parties and functions. Renovations to the kitchen and some of the bedrooms are underway, so please pardon our dust! We're also looking for artists to join our residents program. We share meals, collaborate creatively, and are interested to do more self-sustainability work on the 25 acre property we occupy. Growers and other agricultural enthusiasts are especially encouraged to reach out. Do you have a project that needs space? Are you willing to share some of what you do or create with our community?
