Please stop flagging. This is an updated post, not a duplicate. I am trying my hardest to keep my dog out of a shelter. This posting in no way meets criteria for removal. I have been trying to rehome my rat terrier for a few weeks. It is getting more and more urgent to rehome him. I am taking care of my father right now and the dog is terrified of the oxygen machine, the walker, and keeps jumping. He is a great dog, but there is just so much going on in my life right now. I don’t want to have to keep him isolated to one room or his crate. He is a male, 2 years old, full breed rat terrier, and around 25lbs. Potty trained. Neutered. Up to date on vaccines. So far he has been great with other dogs, but I can’t promise he would be great with every dog personality. You just never know. He is too jumpy for little kids, but I’d image he would be fine with older kids. Please contact me if you are interested. In the last two weeks, the only emails I have gotten are asking if he is still available and then I get no response when I reply. If the ad is still up, then he is still available. I prefer you to email me initially. I will not respond to an email with just a phone number asking me to call you. I will be charging a reasonable rehome fee, but he can’t be free. There are too many bad people that take advantage of a free dog and end up harming the dog. I deeply care about this dog. Again, please don’t flag this post! I’m just trying to find a good home for my dog.
