Join us for a grand tradition: A Christmas Eve service of Lessons and Carols. It will feature beautiful music interspersed with scripture readings, prayer, and candlelight. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
At this point in time, the CDC shows that community spread of COVID in Cumberland County is low. Thus, masks are optional at Woodfords events.
That said, we encourage you to take whatever protective measures feel best for you and your family. We understand that many people are choosing to mask, given the current "triple-demic" of COVID, Influenza, and RSV that is causing some scientists and medical experts to issue reminders that " high-quality, well-fitting masks are your best protection against infection."
We anticipate that there will be a mix of mask-wearers and non-mask-wearers at worship on Christmas Eve,, and we encourage everyone to respect others' choices.
This holiday season, do whatever you need to do to take good care of yourself, your loved ones, and the wider community.
If you are feeling under the weather on Christmas Eve, we encourage you to stay home and watch this service via live-stream. CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If there is a snowstorm or inclement weather on Christmas Eve and worship needs to be cancelled, we will post a cancellation notice on the church's website (www.woodfordschurch.org), on its Facebook page, and on local television stations. If you have any questions about whether or not worship will take place, please check those sites before coming to the church.
