Join the Advisory Board of Girls on The Run Montgomery County at LUNAFEST Bethesda! LUNAFEST is a nationally touring film festival that features award-winning short films by, for, and about women. LUNAFEST will take place on Thursday, February 2nd at the Suburban Hospital Auditorium in Bethesda, MD. Proceeds from the event will benefit Girls on the Run Montgomery County; a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. All ticket and raffle sale proceeds will support the Girls on the Run scholarship fund, which makes Girls on the Run accessible to all girls who wish to participate. Play a part in strengthening our community and celebrating diversity in storytelling! ***Please note that Suburban Hospital requires masks at this event. Event Details: 6:30 PM: Doors open and happy hour begins! 7:00 PM: Film viewing begins. Yes, Suburban Hospital requires all its visitors to wear a mask, so please remember to bring one and wear it during LUNAFEST. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Films are rated as appropriate for ages 13 and older. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
