Out for Justice is an organization comprised of individuals who are both directly and indirectly impacted by the legal system advocating for the reform of policies and practices that adversely affect successful reintegration into society. GALA DETAILS Reception The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. as our guests are welcomed to our red carpet reception to enjoy an array of butlered hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a 360-camera booth, games, and more! Dinner Service Following the reception, guests will be served a 3-course dinner, and as we hear from our members and special guests who will share insight into the history and successes of Out For Justice and how your enthusiastic support of our mission and work is critical as we target our 2023 projects, advocacy, and growth. This fundraising gala also affords us the opportunity to celebrate people who have demonstrated excellence and compassion in serving others, as well as honor our members and partners for their achievements. Out For Justice has a limited number of discounted rooms available for our guests who want to stay overnight (December 30-31st). You can reserve your room by Booking Here. Harbor Court Garage Parking: Guests may use Harbor Court Garage located on Lee Street, subject to availability. There are different rates depending on the length of time. Make a right out of the driveway, a right at the light onto Lee Street, and it's the first driveway on the right. The garage is covered and attached to the hotel. Please note: the daytime events are free of charge, and we encourage everyone to participate. In order to prepare accordingly, we ask that you click here to let us know you are joining us. The first event at noon is our Interactive Legislative Session, where we engage in a mock legislative session, which is a simulation using OFJ’s real policy agenda to prepare for the upcoming 2023 legislative session. Making civic engagement exciting is an innovative and practical method of empowering our community to influence change in their state and local communities, learning advocacy through real-world experience. It is essential to understand the importance of the legislative process and the power of our votes. The session includes a buffet lunch. Following the interactive session is our Legal Clinic to provide warrant recalls, expungements, and other legal aid, ending at 4 PM. We cap the night recognizing our Out For Justice members, partners, and supporters, as well as looking at the history, leaders, and influential players who shaped Out For Justice over 10-plus years. A short screening of our history, awards, and of course, live entertainment, dancing, and much, much more in this one-of-a-kind formal all-night event!
