Welcome to the first event in the series for the Texas Narrative Circuit! Hosted at The Forge Houston, this will be a weekend filled with glory, honor, and fun! The Tejas sector was happily trundling along until all the rumors of the Horus Heresy started coming in. Suddenly the Lords Astartes, The Merchant Dukes and Duchesses and the Lord Magos are getting conflicting reports of loyalty, betrayal and atrocities. They decide to secede from the warring imperium until the fighting is done and see how to go forward in the future. As part of this they split the Sector into 4 parts and begin to heavily fortify. The sector is in the central galactic south and has been largely ignored despite its wealth in resources. From the West comes a fleet of the Warmaster’s chosen who have come to what they believe to be a friendly sector to resupply and rearm. From the north and east come the rampaging forces of Terra to punish who they see as traitors and to claim the sectors resources for the war effort. Let the fight for the Lone Star Port begin! 8 games, 3 days, lets jam! Bring the following lists, and Materials. Fully Painted and Based. #fullypaintedisforclosers 3000 point Frontline. Aimed at taking objectives, fight for control of the port against a single tough foe! 2000 points 2v2 list. Team games, oriented at getting games in with your boys, come together, Combine arms, and unleash Hell! 1500 Zone Mortalis list. Darkness abounds, fight through the tunnels, the underground, and deep dark places, and see your objective to the end! You must bring a single Marker (fully painted of course), to denote your forces on the Map through the weekend. The marker should be on a 32mm base. It can be something as simple as a Shoulderpad, painted and glued to a base, or it can be more intricate. Its up to you. Who knows... Maybe there will be a prize for best Marker... Frontline 3000 point games. All Rites of War allowed. No Unique or Named Characters. Addendum: is your faction sold out? Please, consider attending anyhow as the other side. These events thrive off of flexibility. Take the weekend off from being a goody two shoes, and be a Traitor! Don't always be the bad guy, play Loyalist! I can guarantee, you'll have a great time either way you play. ++++++++++ Paired games! 2v2! 4000 point games played on a 6x4 board. 2000 points a player, 4 players. Want to get a game in with your buddy? Wanna fight 2 other dudes somewhere other than a Waffle House parking lot at 3am? Here ya go! No Unique or Named Characters. ++++++++++ Zone Mortalis 1500 points. Walls will be Armor Value 14 with 2 Hull points. Immune to Haywire, If an explodes result is rolled the wall crumbles and goes away, with no explosion. All other results are ignored. Doors Will be AV 10 as per WD #477 With Standard doors having 3 hp and for Large doors 6 HP. To be played on appropriately sized and made up tables (IE 4x4 ZM boards.) Use the Zone Mortalis rules found in WD #477 to construct your force for these games. No Unique or Named Characters. NOTE: this is subject to change up to the event start date.
