Wakanda Forever is a highly anticipated film which honors Chadwick Boseman and the legacy of Black Panther/King T'Challa that he brought to life. As Boseman succumbed to colorectal cancer in 2020, the movie presents a timely opportunity to promote colorectal awareness and the importance of colorectal screening, particularly among the African American community. The University of Illinois Cancer Center is hosting a screening of Wakanda Forever and will provide a brief talk on colorectal cancer to shatter stigma and misinformation and to promote UI Health resources for colorectal care among community members. This will be an evening of advocacy, education, and fun!
