Phil Mace, whose family has been in Efland since the 1700s, will discuss how the Bank of Efland was organized in 1920, why it closed in 1931, and what happened in between, including the robbery in whic a bandit was killed. Of the three men who robbed the bank that day, one had an infmous career that landed him on the FBI's Most Wanted list.
