The Central CA Animal Disaster Team announces its 2023 weekend training program. This team training will teach the basic skills needed to respond in the counties that we serve. This program is focused on recruiting and training volunteers to help animals in Tulare and Kern counties during disasters.
Times: Saturday, March 11th: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Check-in: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.) Sunday, March 12th: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Check-in: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.)
On Saturday from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., CCADT will host an informal social event for you and current volunteers. There will be appetizers and beverages to enjoy. Please indicate on the order form whether you can attend or not.

Coordination with emergency response agenciesAnimal Evacuation & Shelter-In-Place CareEmergency Animal ShelteringSafe Handling of Small Companion AnimalsIn 2023, this new training program is FREE to all attendees. Minimum age: 18 years
Registration is required. If your schedule changes and you cannot attend, please cancel as soon as possible. Deadline to register: March 1, 2023
This program is the ONLY recruitment event for new volunteers being offered in the southern Central Valley in 2023. For the new recruits and current volunteers, continuing educational workshops will be offered throughout the year.
