We are pleased to announce Seishu Kobo, an extremely unique sake pairing event which will feature yeast strains 1 through 6. These sakes are unavailable for purchase as they come direct from reserves in their respective kuras. We will explore retired yeast strains 1-6 from: Shubo (1906), Gekkeikan (Kyoto 1868-1912), Suishin (Hiroshima 1914), Unidentified Kura (Hiroshima, 1924) Kamotsuru (Hiroshima ~1923) and Awa-nishi-kobo (1940) Our chefs are working on creating a pairing menu that will enlighten the palate and compliment each sake poured. This is an extremely limited seating event with only 20 tickets available. Hosted by sake sommelier Carrie Becker.
