An Evening with Chris Wilson On Saturday, January 14, 2023, Chris Wilson will headline our fourth indoor River Room Concert since Covid19!  The doors will open at 6:30 PM and the show will start at 7:30 PM.  Seating is limited to the first 85 interested persons who sign-up at this site. To support our artists, we have established a recommended donation of $30 per person for this concert.  All donated proceeds are directed to the artist. Important Safety Measures: All participants/attendees for our indoor concerts must be symptom-free and fully vaccinated against Covid19 -- and as we have done in the past, we will follow the then-current CDC advice on Covid19. The River Room seating capacity is 85 but we will limit attendance if we are required to achieve safety objectives as prescribed by the CDC. We will allow guests to share food at this concert. Polly and I will certainly provide bottled water, hot cocoa, hot tea, and coffee for our guests -- and her infamous "Mansion Concert chocolate chip cookies." Chris's easy demeanor on stage quickly puts his audience at ease after which he delivers vocal performances in a one-of-a-kind tenor range. His covers of well-worn pop tunes are musical explorations in harmony, pace, and phrasing. His original songs are inspired by his deep faith and his desire to communicate his beliefs in life, love, and community. During the pandemic, Chris entertained audiences twice weekly with live broadcasts from his barn in Churchville, NY (near Rochester). Chris’s life mission to share his music is paired with an uncanny ability to move audiences with his clear vocals and guitar. Whether it be songs of love or faith or unique covers of his favorite pop tunes, Chris’s beautiful voice turns any song into a song for the soul.
