Smooth Coast LLC is a repair company in the glass & aluminum industry with three offices serving eastern central Florida and has been in operation for 12 years. The position available is for a full time Technician's Assistant that will report to, and work out of our Ormond Beach, FL office. Actual work will be conducted at various job sites including houses, condominiums and commercial establishments. ***Daily (Monday through Friday) punctual arrival to the office is required.*** Daily duties include: Supporting a Technician through Job site set up, breakdown and clean up, organizing tools and parts, and other support tasks as needed. Some heavy lifting is required. Travel to and from job sites will occur in a company vehicle and all tools and equipment will be provided by the company. We have an in – house Apprenticeship program allowing us to train and promote from within. We are professional and require observance to company policies at all times. We are looking for: Reliability. Professionalism. Familiarity with basic hand tools. The endurance to work outdoors. The ability to follow directions and receive instruction. Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record. We do not allow smoking during working hours. A background check will be conducted. Drug screenings will be conducted and will continue at random.
