After the new year, I would like to start a band that plays the classic Blues from the 1950's and 1960's (B B King, Otis Rush, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Koko Taylor and so on). I'm looking for someone with power and passion in their voice. I already have interested musicians (guitar, bass and drums). We would rehearse regularly for a few months to get the music tight and then play occasional gigs at small local venues once a month for a few dollars. This will be a fun project for everyone involved and at the same time keep the Blues alive in the Triangle area. If you love singing and love the Blues, let's start something in the new year.
