11 month Working-line Czech/Slov. GSD

Seeking a qualified human &/or family with a stable home set-up and schedule to re-home my 11 month old puppy Rafael. The reason I say ‘qualified’ is because those that know the temperament of working-line shepherds understand how much time and commitment is needed to ensure they live a full & balanced life. Rafa is a pure black, Czech/Slovakian working-line GSD born on January 27th this year. Our dam, Remi Vamoz Bohemia (my mobility service dog), is a Czech import & the sire, Ali Perunnova, is from Slovakian roots and successfully earned his IGP 3 just this year. This is their 2nd successful breeding. (References & pedigrees are available.) I decided to keep Rafael after mistakenly thinking I’d have enough extra time to prioritize task training him to replace Remi, his mom, as my mobility brace since she’s getting older. In retrospect, this was an irresponsible decision on my part with how chaotic life has been and with minimal support. Those who have experience managing working-line dogs know how hard it can be, especially with my disability & managing 2 of them. (Mother and son) Personality wise, he is definitely a rambunctious one who displays alpha-male traits but overall, he is well socialized to people of all ages, responds sharply & eagerly to the commands he’s learned so far, and is very, stupidly affectionate with his family and our friends. The main traits preventing us from progressing on in task-training is his high reactivity to other animals. He will bark and whine til no end whenever he sees another dog, cat, etc. Sadly I do not know how to undo this behavioral issue. Last thing I want to do is re-home him but if there is someone out there who can love him as much as I do & has the time & means to provide him the life he so deserves, I will not let my feelings dictate my decision to let him go. I love my animals so much and they do live an active, happy life, however, I desire for him to maximize the breadth of his potential nor am I willing for us to continue placing limits on each other.
