Join Ashlander Lillian Breen in this wonderful opportunity to put your thoughts to paper with others who are so inclined. Each month, Lillian will give you two prompts to start the juices flowing or, if you already have an idea, just come to write with friends. This month's writing prompts will be: ~ GAMES YOU PLAYED AS A KID? ~ TWO FEET OF SNOW ~ WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE? Start thinking and then come with your paper/pen/laptop and be ready to write and discuss (this part is optional, as we know stories can also be deeply personal). Feel free to bring your favorite non-alcoholic writing drink in a covered cup. About Lillian: My name is Lillian Breen, a resident of Ashland for 17 ½ years. I’ve been a long time passionate, personal story writer who has been wanting to organize a personal story/poetry writing group for several years. I have 3 grown children, 5 grandchildren & a great-granddaughter. My love of water-color painting, at Ashland Senior Center, for 15 years has also unfolded during that time. Everyone has stories to unleash, in writing & sharing ~ this develops into a wonderful mini-community. We will have pen/pencils with good erasers and paper on hand if you need.
