Receive free legal help from the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia (LASEV). Learn more about LASEV and all of the legal resources available at the George Wythe Law Library located on the Second floor of the Hampton Public Library.  LASEV can assist eligible clients in a variety of civil matters such as landlord/tenant cases, public benefits cases, consumer law cases and family law cases. While you’re at the library, feel free to visit the Resources757 table in the Reference area during the afternoon event. A representative from ForKids, a Resources757 partner, will provide information about a resource network of organizations providing assistance to Tidewater, Virginia residents. Assistance includes housing, food, individual and family support, health care, GED education, and much more. *The Hampton Public Library and its staff are NOT responsible for legal assistance or advice.
