Although leaving the Anacostia community is bittersweet, THIS IS A CELEBRATION of what's to come! Join us in saying farewell to Nubian Hueman as their store doors make a final close at the Anacostia Arts Center location. ID is required, regardless of age. What is the attire? - This is a casual event BUT we ask that you wear black, cream, or shades of brown. Face masks under current guidelines will not be required but encouraged. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? - There is parking available in front of the Anacostia Arts Center and adjacent streets. We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or carpool. The 92, B2, & V2 busses and the Anacostia Metro Station are all within walking distance. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? - No. We are an environmentally conscious organization, so we ask that you bring your ticket on your mobile device. Printed tickets will also be accepted. You will be required to register with a credit card should you wish to purchase at the door. There will be no cash transactions for tickets. Is it okay if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? - Yes as long as the guest is over 21. The check-in process may be delayed in order to update the guest information in our event software. What's the refund policy? - If you are unable to attend, the value of the ticket, minus any fees, will be converted into a donation to support local non-profits. There will be no refunds unless the event is canceled. The event is rain, shine, sleet, or snow!
