At Independence, Inc., we remove barriers and achieve dreams for people with disabilities. The Independence, Inc. Chili Bowl is a competition between area restaurants to find out who makes the best chili in town. Winners are determined by members of the public who attend the event, as well as a select group of celebrity judges. In addition to trying chili from multiple restaurants, the event will include live music, and the opportunity to bid on a large variety of silent auction items. Independence, Inc. is a Resource Center for Independent Living. Our Mission is to advocate for the freedom of choice for individuals with disabilities to live independently through the removal of all barriers.
