Directed by Wes Anderson // Rated R
In the 1930s, Zero (Tony Revolori), a junior lobby boy at the famed Grand Budapest Hotel, becomes the protege of concierge Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes), who prides himself on providing first-class service to the hotel's guests, including satisfying the sexual needs of the many elderly women who stay there. When one of Gustave's lovers (Tilda Swinton) dies mysteriously, Gustave finds himself the recipient of a priceless painting and the chief suspect in her murder. Critics agree, it’s impossible to describe Wes Anderson films without using the words 'whimsical' and 'quirky’.
Join us before the movie for a live music set by The Dust of the Sun Ensemble!
The Dust of Suns dreamed and hoped hard to be matched with Wes Andersons’ The Grand Budapest Hotel at The Parkway! They play original, French-infused, Indy-classical melodic miniatures that aspire to the vibe the great Alexander Desplat attains so effortlessly for Wes Anderson.
