Shadow is 6 1/2yrs old. I'm heartbroken 💔 to rehome him. He's my 17yr old daughters cat and is loved. He is mainly an outdoor cat but comes inside when it's cold or snowing. My other cat has been very aggressive twords him. I've tried everything I can think of to resolve this issue. Separating them at night worked for awhile until he started spraying. As long as he wasn't stuck in the house, he was all good. I can't refuse him coming inside when it's so cold and I refuse to have my house smelling like cat piss. He's such a good cat otherwise. He prefers to be outside and is miserable if he can't go out. He is a loner, outsider and basically stays out of the way. He's a good hunter. I find mice, birds, snakes, lizards and other little critters that he leaves behind. So he can be a farm cat. He's a big sissy. Gets chased and attacked by both my cats and dogs, as hes like the outsider. I'm in no hurry to rehome him. I didn't bring him home for my daughter because I planned on getting rid of him in the future. He's supposed to grow old, growing up with my daughter until his last day. I would NEVER consider this last resort but he's given me no choice. I'm remodeling my home soon. He needs a new home before I remodel. Regardless, I'm in no hurry to give this loved baby up to just anybody. If you didn't even take the time to read this long post, please don't even bother contacting me. The rehome fee is small, he needs a good home more than I need money. He really don't have any belongings to go with him. Ohhh important: He's caught up on all immunization.
