Why are so many Republicans being convicted of crimes?

Steve Bannon, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Roger Stone, The Trump Organization, all of the January 6 terrorists, and on and on. With the January 6 Committee about to make criminal referrals to the DOJ next week, that list is going to get a lot longer. Why are the so many criminals in the GOP?
