Description
Hi I'm Christy. I'm a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College, I'm pet CPR Certified through Animal Behavior College and I'm Evaluator Certified to give any form of AKC Good Citizens and to judge dog competitions through American Kennel Club. I have been training dogs for 9 years and specialize in basic to advanced training, behavior modification, mild to moderate anxiety and mild aggression. I am also an Animal Behavior specialist as of 9 years, as well as have been a veterinary technician for a short time. My job is to train the owners to teach their fur babies the cues they want them to learn. It is important for owners to learn how to train their own dogs in order to establish a wonderful bond and learn about their fur babies Behavior. I am offering remote Training only. Remote Training is training on FaceTime in the comfort of your own home. For Canine Good Citizens course training or test, we would have to meet up at a very public park because a crowd is required for testing. That is the only option I would offer to meet up. I am doing remote Training temporarily since my dad is having seizures and I need to be home to help mom. My pricing is $100 for a 6 week course for basic to advanced obedience. Canine Good Citizens or puppy Star courses will be $250 for a 6 week course, this includes the test. If you are only wanting the Canine Good Citizens or AKC Puppy S.T.A.R test it will simply be $20. Any basic to advanced obedience will be done on FaceTime. Behavior modification is also done on FaceTime and is $20 for a session. When a client chooses Behavior modification, they're choosing a problem Behavior that they want to fix. It will only take one session. You will be responsible for doing the homework that is given to you for your training. Keeping your puppy or dog on leash is necessary during training sessions because you don't want it to have the opportunity to roam while trying to train. You will need a good quality treat. I recommend meet, such as shredded chicken, hot dogs etc....this is strictly positive reinforcement and there will be no harsh methods. I will be using my own dogs to demonstrate all the cues and how to lure your dog into position. If you're interested please contact me, Christy at .
