Newer Bass Player Looking to Play Covers

Hey all, I’m newer to bass but have been playing guitar and singing for the last 15 years on and off. I’m no John Paul Jones or Jack Bruce but I can hold my own and can do background vocals. Looking to explore more on the bass, I’ve only had one other band experience on bass and am hoping to pursue it further. Ideally I would like to join an existing classic rock/dance cover band or start the makings of one with others who have the intent to gig. I have all professional equipment and have solid rhythm. Let’s see what happens!
