The text and email associated with this posting are not monitored. --- This position reports to the Quality Manager then Vice President (VP) of Quality and is responsible for handling all internal and external quality issues for a given number of customers. ***Minimum level of education / training required/certificates/licenses: This position requires a General Educational Diploma (GED) or High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma. ***Minimum experience required: Previous experience using problem solving skills, working with customers, reading blueprints, and working with computers is preferred. ***Essential Responsibilities: Professionally answers customer complaints and requests. Properly follows up on all items or projects in process. Accurately investigates, reviews, and corrects internal problems with appropriate department. Has a good working knowledge and understanding of design of experiments. Actively participates in customer visits to their facility and ours as needed. Effectively presents information in an organized and professional manner, internally and externally. Proficiently stays abreast of new equipment and technology in field. Understand and develop basic gaging techniques. Develops, writes, implements, and explains inspection checksheets and procedures. Has a general understanding of all measuring equipment (Comparator, Height Gage, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Calipers, Micrometers, etc.) Has effective working knowledge of blueprints and part prints, and Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T). Competently understands Statistical Process Control (SPC), control limits, and capability. Actively participates in pre-production planning of a new product. Accurately dispositions suspect non-conforming parts. Specifically determines and coordinates cross functional meetings.
