We are looking for a professional bass player for an established variety band. Requirements: Energetic/enthusiastic/experienced bass player looking to join our family & be part of something special,with pro gear. Full-time position/commitment - up to 96 gigs a year, We perform at least once per weekend sometimes twice. Dedication a MUST! Band does not use substitute musicians, Must be a pocket bass player, no running up and down the neck. Must be able to play with minimum stage volume, and let our PA system do the heavy lifting. Must be familiar with country, rock, 70's, 80's,etc. Must be willing to rehearse weekly (Tuesdays) Some lead vocals preferred and harmony vocals a must. Most gigs happen in a 100 mile radius of Louisville. Equipment van in place. Can leave bass rig in van. Must be willing to help load and unload band equipment and with setup.
