Qualifications for Warehouse Receiver • Forklift Experience Helpful (stand up pickers & gas forklift) • Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets, receiving slips and purchase orders • Able to work independently and with others as needed • Must be able to keep a consistent attendance record • Must be able to use/learn a computer system Responsibilities for Warehouse Receiver • Receive in vendor shipments and check them for accuracy • Sorting and distributing material from incoming truck/UPS/FEDEX shipments throughout the warehouse • Load and unload truck shipments by hand and by using equipment • Put away all cartons and pallet's received on a daily basis into inventory • Process material returned by customers check for accuracy and fill out any paperwork to return material into inventory • Pull items from inventory for Customer orders on a needs basis. • May be required to complete additional assignments as needed • Assist in the reconciliation of inventory variances to receiving and shipping activities
