Hard post. Please no judgement. We rescued stormi, about 2 years ago from a horrible situation. We knew nothing about the breed at the time. Very unfortunately we have had to made the very difficult decision to rehome her. She is getting snippy with our kids, mostly the 5 year old pictured. She is also showing signs of food aggression which she hasn’t for a long time and bolts out of the house, we are afraid she’s going to get hit. With 3 kids and her it is more then we can handle at this time. We believe she is about 3-4 years old. Very sweet and energetic to adults. Would do best with a house with no kids (older kids probably ok) and definitely no older dogs. We have a cat and she tries to play with her but doesn’t know her size. She is fully potty trained, but does NOT do well in a crate as she will break out even of the super anti destructive ones. She is not fixed, and has some food allergies but does well with Purina One large breed. Again, this is a crappy decision to make. And unfortunately our tiniest daughter is going to be devastated, but it’s what’s best for us at this time. We have tried everything within our reach. There is a rehoming fee and we will be selective in the process of finding her a new family. Message for details.
