When: Saturday December 31st 10:00am-12:00pm Where: Scouters Mountain Nature Park WHAT: Join us for a walk along a mile and a half long loop trail through the forest and enjoy the view from the top of the hill, including Mt. Hood to the east, Oxbow Regional Park, to the northeast alongside the serpentine Sandy River. The walk is an easy-moderate walk. We will provide a light snack after the walk. This event is free. Scouters Mountain Nature park has a nice well maintained wooded trail. The park is even and paved. The trails at Scouters Mountain Nature park are not steep, but there are uneven surfaces and it is not paved. Please plan to wear comfortable shoes and cold weather clothing appropriate for the cold weather of that day. We recommend bringing a bottle of water as well. RSVP Required. Please be sure to look out for a confirmation email after you register and fill out the required participation waiver. Scouters Mountain Park has ample parking.
