Join our fly-tying experts and learn how to tie some of the most effective flies for both salt- and freshwater. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings with Session 1 beginning November 9, 2022 and ending January 18, 2023. (There will be no class on December 28.) Session 2 begins January 25 and ends March 22, 2023. NEW! Each night we are offering a Beginner Class from 5-6:30pm followed by an Intermediate Class from 7-8:30pm. Please do not sign up for both. Session 2 will be a repeat of Session 1, allowing students to graduate from beginner to intermediate level or repeat a session. WEEK 6 Intermediate Royal Wulff. The Royal Wulff is a popular fly by Lee Wulff, one of the most influential names in fly fishing. Most anglers have at least one of his famous dry flies in their box. Wulff style flies use hair (instead of feathers) for the wings and tail. These flies were often bigger and bulkier than the average dry fly of that time. Famous flies in this category include the White Wulff, Gray Wulff and Grizzly Wulff.
